i7 920

how much should i overclock this to?
i have liquid cooling

2.66 GHz core speed

2.93 GHz (Turbo)

i7 920 costs 300$
i7-975 costs 1000$
same chip under the hood..
but, they run on different frequency's

doing 4.0 GHz + with liquid cooling would be good idea?
or i shouldn't do it ? maybe start off at 3.0 and then its stable, then do more?

Welcome to the modern world.

You need to learn how to wire cleanly >_>. I use to have a clear case and led lights, but they are distracting in the night and burned out fast.

How long did it take you to assemble?

Should tape them to the side, especially with a clear case, so it looks less ugly.

2.***** - 3.4Ghz Overclocked (Stable) is better that trying to do 3.6/3.8/4.0Ghz... The performance is going to go a bit, but in the long run it could spell trouble... 2.93Ghz - 3.8Ghz Overclocked (Stable)... Get a 3.0Ghz/3.2Ghz Core i7 Then crank that baby up to 4.0Ghz - 4.8Ghz (Overclocked) 2.***** - 4.8Ghz Overclocked with Liquid Nitrogen
