Do Gaming Mice Really Make A Difference?

Honestly, it's something that you don't need.

Only buy one if:

(A) Your other mouse is Broken and/or terrible.

(B) You've got extra money to spend.

I've had an old DELL mouse from like 06 that i use for gaming, i recently bought a $200 Razer Ouroboros and totally regret it.

I never use it and am fully retarded with it when i try to game with it. It feels generally uncomfortable and hard to move.
Overall, unless there is anything wrong with the old mouse, just stick with it.

For me yes it did make alot of difference, i bought a DeathAdder 2013 from Razer. I had an old 3 year old mouse that was good enough. The 4g sensor is so much better than the old mouse's sensor, you could literally go to any pixel you want without having trouble. I turned down my sensitivity in MW3 and i find it much better then high DPI and high sens. low sens ftw ^.^ What i recommend you to do is: go to a store, try out a gaming mouse you want to and see if its comfortable, and choose whatever you want. Some quality issues i had with my DA: scroll button squeaks if sometimes, hardly noticeable. Also when you push the mouse buttons VERY hard they squeak, but shouldn't be a problem imo as long as you don't push it hard all the time. Overall i'd rate it 9/10 and A VERY huge upgrade over old mouses for me. Just put tons of time into research and choose carefully before buying one.

I know that feel, when i got my DA 2013 i felt like shit using it, took me less than a week to get used to it, but then after i got used to it:

Anyways try to keep using it until you get used it it.. >_< It's a shame to let 200$ go into waste.

Yes and no. I wouldn't pay over $100 for one like some other retards, but a mouse with a good sensor and comfortable grip is worth it, imo.

I'd say yes, if your getting something like the R.A.T. has features like slow-dpi button's to make aiming easier, and some like faster aim like me so I just use an easy logitech mouse.

So it really depends on your style if aiming is better or worse, I would like a R.A.T. and test out the features but they are expensive at the price of $150.

R.A.T. have bad sensors compared to other mouses IMO. DA2013 is very cheap at only 60-70$

if you're already comfortable with the mouse you have and it's not broken then you dont need a new one, high dpi doesn't always mean it's good, i switch my mouse from a dell to logitech g500 and when ever i play, i play using the lowest dpi/sensitivity that the mouse have

yes it does make a difference, I got a razer mouse ($70 one) and the movement on my mouse was more smooth and how I aimed was more accurate. I then switched back to my normal stock mouse from compaq just to see how it feels and there is a big difference

Better DPI, nice buttons. No they don't but there hella nice.
