Hack Tool Detected

I logged into Crossfire, joined a server, and I get a message that tells me I got the dreaded "Hack Tool Detected 1:24:00:0 yadda yadda". This is total bs as I ran the game with Gamebooster (which closes all foreign 'extra' applications outside of the game, and then kills its own process). I go to log in again and I get "Hack Tool Detected" a second time. After I click the green 'OK' it tells me I've been "Banned for 0 months 0 days and 0 hours" I go on the website and Ta-Da! My Honorable Soldier Ribbon is gone. If anyone can explain to me why this occurred that would be great.

I've actually never heard of this kind.

Maybe you were using hacks and X-Trap detected it?

I apologize, I forgot to mention I was not running any hacking programs of any sort, or any injectors, etc.

It's a common issue. I get it once to 10+ time's every week. I have had this "Hack tool detected" many time's before on HS account's to and never lost it. I'd send in a support ticket and ask Z8 WTF is going on, Why where your banned for 0 days 0 hours etc and lost it, They do have reports sent to them on why your account was banned. 9 time's out of 10 it's a code from a backround program that Xtrap or Cf picks up as suspicious, Hence the hack tool and no actual ban time. Xtrap did a patch today =/ might have something to do with it.

nvm , just try to log in again after 1 min
that's happened ,because you tried to join to the game again after little time 1~5 min
don't worry , about the Honorable Soldier Ribbon i think you should send a ticket to z8games with the info of what happened
maybe they'll back it to you.

hey dude umm this happend before guys to everyone im back in the cf bussness and umm its a one time thing try not to run fraps or anything like that and umm if your gonna run fras go to its derectory and rename it so xtrap dont detect it

well it happend to me before without hacks and everything i just reset my computer and hopefully it dont happen again i just got a new account with the awm infernal

Its not a big deal i have got it a few times nothing happens

Yeah, but the thing is, I lost my HS Ribbon

i got that issue too .. but somehow different.
i joined a room, clicked ready as normal but as soon as the game started i got stuck in loading screen
then after along delay i got "failed to connect to server" message , clicked ok and got "you have been banned for 0 hour 0 min".
unfortunately, i dont think they will give you your hs ribbon back, they never return it, but you should give a try.
