Black screen problem
Hey everyone.
i have got a new PC about a year ago and decided to install crossfire on it.
at the beginning, there was no problems at all, except a weird issue that appeared when i enter training camp
it , simply doesn't render anything in the game except the UI, but no in game object, no models, cant even see my weapons etc.
it wasn't annoying, until it started to happen to all maps.
now whenever i enter a room, no matter what server, what account or what map, i get the same issue.
i have tried taking a replay file from another PC, verified it works well and later tested on this PE, but still same issue.

here is some pictures explaining everything:

this picture is taken from Training Camp:

this picture is taken from Egypt TD:

this picture is taken from Laboratory GM:

this picture is taken from Shopping Mall TD:

i have also tried the following solutions, but none of them worked:
re installing the game.
disabling antivirus, firewall, etc.
closing all unused background applications and services.
cleaning environment variables.
starting the game on a different user account.

full hardware specifications:
Mother-Board : H61M-S2P.
CPU : Intel Celeron G540 @ 2500 GHz.
Memory : DDR3 - 2048 MB on a single channel (1.89 available).
GPU : Intel HD Graphics 1000 (GT1) @ 850 MHz - 1024 MB.

running on Windows XP Professional SP3 - x86 version with all up-to-date device drivers.

can someone help me out?

1-write your id and pw normally
2-choose your server
3-go to items shop
3-choose a weapon and Enter Shooting Range
5-screen will be fixed join any room you want

Notice: you should do that every time

i hope that work for you

Check your graphics settings. Like NVIDIA or whatever you have, and make sure you have the 3-D modelling set to "Auto" or something along the lines of the program's settings. And if that doesn't work, do a clean re-install of the game, run C-Cleaner, disable your anti-virus while downloading the game, and then run the game as admin once it's done downloading. Notify me if this doesn't help

have a better suggestion?

by the way : i just noticed that everything is normal in storage and item mall, until i go ingame, no matter if it was a normal game or training camp / shooting range
this will happen afterwards:

As a matter of fact, I did read the last few lines, and addressed them in my post. I said "NVIDIA or whatever you have" (Intel G1 fitting into that category). Now, if you were paying attention to the rest of my post, I recommended you change the settings not to default, but to Auto, or something along the lines of the application handling the 3-D modeling (which is conveniently located under Custom Settings).

Okay, did that solve your problem?

If the problem persists:
•Perform a clean re-install of Crossfire, and make sure no hacks were being used or are open during the installation

If THAT doesn't work:
•Back up everything on your computer onto an external drive/disk, and then restart your computer to factory settings. It may be something you downloaded, or a virus, etc.

try to lower the resolution settings of your graphics card and see if that works. if that doesn't work, then maybe try to redownload the rez files.

Giniyat, don't make it difficult on us. And just try downloading the REZ files again, and not the entire game. Lately a lot of people have not been able to play because that they had a "Cracked Installer" on the website, so some of the REZ files were damaged. Just look on the internet for them, and delete your old ones and put in the new ones.
