[HELP] Warrock/ Windows Vista

Ok, i just got a new PC with windows vista. and the WRUpdater is being blocked by the pc's settings. So does anyone know how to allow that aplication to run?

Shite. I betcha I got banned from PB. craaaaaap. Oh well, I am getting a new PC soon.

no, i just got a new PC, I just downloaded warrock. So im not HW Banned. I havenet even played it yet. So if you have Vista and you know how to change the security setting, so i can play. Thanks

I think you misunderstood me. It was me that I thought was HW banned. All is well now, tho. I hope.



You have admin rights on vista? If so, allow all programs, and see if that works. I know there was some discussion on warrock.net forums about this, too.

right click> properties> compatability> change it to XP


you can do this to the whole warrock folder to minimize other problems

Cant, i dont get properties when i right click. I have Vista, what youe talking about is on XP.

Or another way is reformat to Xp home and you wont have that troble but Im not realy into Vista i have a trail version and its not that good it takes alot of memory up on it

that is so not true...i have hw ban aswuel and i have a gd bypass and i can still play...dont trick other players d(-.-)b

There IS compatibility mode on Vista, I have Ultimate and It DOES work (Compatibility mode, that is)

Disable UAC, it's an annoying bitch. And yes, you can right click and select properties.

And by i dunno if u knwo this but i read in this PC magazine that Vista sucks with games, its new OS but 4 some reason it sucks with games like the graphics in such clasic game engines such as HALF-LIFE , DOOM etc the games be running slow and the graphics come out ugly they said they planning to fix that if they didn't already so lol thats why im still runing on Wind. XP M.C. my Vista supposed to coem soon, i could of already downloaded it out of net but i wana my official one ))))))

or u can right click and say run as admin and it will go fine
