Two computer monitors, some questions.

Have you got two or three monitors ? Is it worth it ? What are the advantages and disadvantages ?

I myself think it's easy and usefull when gaming on one screen, and chatting on the other, aswell as multitasking while watching a movie (as an example, a boring part and you decide to browse MPGH while it plays).
I'm thinking about getting a second monitor, it's like €100 for the exact same monitor that I've got atm (otherwise it doesn't look as good, I guess ?), so why not ? Tell me in your reply.

I'm using two 23 inches, when I disconnect one of them everything feels so wrong/slow/donotwant, usually keep spotify/msn windows on my second one, sometimes youtube videos if I wanna watch something while browsing MPGH on my main monitor.
You can't go to the other monitor while playing a fullscreen game though, because the game will minimize

I've used 2 monitors before, it's worth the money, that extra space can be a wonderful thing.

What about games that use Windowed Menu mode ? (e.g. the game keeps runnign while you browse to other stuff with Alt+Tab)

Games in Windowed mode wont be minimized

Great, that's what I run almost all of my games in

It's great while gaming and skyping, or watching youtube videos and browsing mpgh.
It's really awesome for programming and googling.
Would definitely buy.

definitely get a 2nd monitor, i use it all the time with video-editing.
btw 2 different screens are fine too, at least i don't really find it disturbing.

Its really usefull. I'm going to buy 2nd one soon too.

I'm currently using a 25 inch monitor and used my old ancient ~18 inch monitor as a second monitor. It was pretty useful and the experience is nice. I eventually swapped the ancient piece of shit for a new one. If you got the spare money, I would suggest you buying it. Also, it wouldn't necessarily have to be the same size.
