Making a completely new gun?
Hey guys! I didn't visit this forum for quite a long time because I have been busy with life

Anyways, I thought about making a new gun, not just modding. If you don't know, I am a lazy guy so that's only what I've got by far:

Model editing has been patched by nexon, but thanks to the one and only supercarz1991, model editing has almost returned (he just can't release it ).

Now, in the picture I posted above, I want you to look not only on the gun texture, but it's name and ammo too.

As you see, I changed the name to "Heineken G36E" and the ammo to 40/80.

So what do you guys think ?

Notes:

*The texture wasn't made by me. It was made by Picadoce_Backup! Check out his thread of this amazing mod: http://www.mpgh.net/forum/375-combat...-heineken.html.

*I have done this in EU, so I don't know if it works the same way on NA.

Awesome! Can you release it for EU ? It is just a texture mod right ?

you can not make a "completely new gun" In ca due to many factors

1.) You need WEAPONS.TXT and MP_WEAPONS.txt access, which are both encrypted
2.) You need access to the CShell source code and to be able to add an ID for the game to know and to update it for everyone who plays ca to see your gun or for attributes to even know it exists
3.) Models are patched except for a select few. I don't have ca installed anymore so don't expect anything lol

Any changes to ammo would be purely visual...

In CAEU, the "WEAPONS.TXT" things works different. Instead of this, there's a language file (English, Turkey and Germany). While you open it, you wanna search for the gun's text. This file contains all the text in the game. For example, I changed the "Kicked by Elite Moderator" popup to "Kicked by Another ******".

the 3 languages actually equal an encryption called Blowfish. There's several kinds of versions of blowfish. In NA, it's like 16 different languages and all translates to something about soccer
