Want to watch a new anime, whats good?
Been thinking about watching Attack on Titan
Attack on Titan was 2013 summer... it's pretty good. The winter anime season started in January so there isn't really much to choose from if we're talking about the best 2014 anime. Here's my top 5 anime for this season so far:
1. Space Dandy
2. Witch Craft Works
3. Noragami
4. Nisekoi
5. Hamatora
Nisekoi had a pretty bad start, it gets better later on. But if we're talking about anime in general instead of recent, I can think of a few better ones.
Almost everything by Urobutcher is a masterpiece. The same goes for Abe Yoshitoshi.
I love Gintama with a passion, so if you haven't seen it you should asap. It's almost entirely focused on comedy but it does switch to darker arcs once in a while and it's done amazingly well. Baccano! was also awesome as hell, you should check that out.
So here's a list of anime in which I would prioritize:
1. Gintama
2. Fate/Zero
3. Baccano!
4. Monogatari series
5. When They Cry
6. Serial Experiments Lain
7. Hunter x Hunter
8. Madoka Magica
9. Haibane Renmei
10. Mushishi

It was funny but it couldn't hold a candle to the ones I listed.
Honestly WWW was the only thing I picked up.
Mostly because of the low fanservice and interesting story from the manga. Nisekoi......goddamnit shaft, pick better fucking anime.
I mean seriously, the monogatari series sold an unbelievable amount. They should be trying to milk this like they're doing with Madoka Magica...
How about No-Rin? Its not bad at all but only has 4 episodes now. It's till releasing.
Nisekoi is pretty good
Attack of Titan AND No-Rin ARE GOOD

Shaft could have done onepunchman for all I care, Nisekoi is just a huge waste of talent.

When have animation studios EVER given something that we like? I'm actually really surprised OPM hasn't gotten an adaption considering it's sales and how popular it is. And you haven't picked up Noragami yet? It's really good. Space Dandy, WWW and Noragami are the only anime that I can say I look forward to every week with a passion. It's got a few similarities to the monogatari series like it being supernatural and how they both have comedy and action in them. Though monogatari uses wordplay and Noragami uses gags, it's still pretty good.
You should start with Attack on Titan even though its not 2014. That's how I got into anime and I ended up getting addicted lol.

All the Type-Moon fans are raging because apparently they're not animating the Heaven's Feel route. I'm happy for the sequel (haven't played the VN) but almost everyone else on other forums are raging about how it's not a true sequel and all that.
