i hear some ppl sayin hip-hop is all negative, so i posted this after today.
Note: never said that this was going to be good, but what the hell ima post this.
BTW: nothing copied from ice cube - it was a good day, it gave me some inspiration(sorta)

yo today everything was all good/
went back to Philly, back home to my hood/
City of Brotherly Love, no1 caused no trouble, no1 pushed or shoved, just more of the above/
ballers on the court shootin threes/
today was a good day, i came out like b.i.g./

went to barber's shop for a quick fresh cut/
walked out the door without having the door slammed shut/
back out to play some basketball, reject the fool's shot like an ugly slut/
shoot, got the ball and put it in for the win, and you know what, the day had just begin/

got a call from my girl/
she went right-round with the pearls/
mang, what a world, one of the best days of my life/
cousin came out, didn't have to smoke, he dropped the pipe/
cops came right past me, red and blue flashing lights/
everything was all good, everything was better than it should, here i am as i relaxed and stood/
