Another thing to mention, Do not insult Liz or any staff member when applying, or just in general. You will need support from other staff members later on when you get chosen. Do not solicit Thanks from others as well, you will get disqualified.
Other than that, just report things like flaming and whatnot in the section, be helpful to others, and you'll be golden.

Requirement is normally 800+ posts
In one particular section, no. You just need over 800 posts. However it does help and puts you above the rest if you ARE active and dedicated to the section you're applying for.
