Last Man Standing
Does anyone have any tips for last man standing . The one thing i have found is to stay on a roof top in the center of the map for as long as you can . I try to wait till it is down to 5 players . If you hit the right roof there are health packs that can only be reached if you land on a roof . When it the player count gets low i make my scavenge hunt for guns and ammo. Note do not confront any players just work on obtaining all you can get a sub machine gun is preferred . When you have all you can get find a good hiding place like a tight spot behind a door near the center of the map . Wait till it is heads up you and the other guy do not hunt him try to camp him . The AK47, in the games I played, has been a big contender of weapons to loot. TPG-1 and Remington 870 are pretty good as well.
A good portion of the game is to hunt for supplies. Remember these places, since the locations aren't randomized, except open street supply crates. If you found enough, go hide. However, move once in a while to locate health packs, since the mode is designed to damage you overtime (think poison gas residue).
If you are getting into a fight, hide and heal to about 3/4 of your max health before taking them on.
Also make use of the gas mask. It'll allow you to walk into the encircling poison gas without taking significant damage. Can't say if it expires after a while inside the gas clouds. Never tried.
