1st step, go get a kill. Hit tab to bring up the scoreboard and look at "score" enter this into the "Value" box; (Leave everything else as it is) and hit "New Scan".
Once you have a bunch of results, go get another kill or two. Get the new score, and put it into the "Value" box again, but this time hit the "Next Scan" button.
You should end up with 2 results, (if you have more, keep getting more kills, until you are happy that they are the values you are looking for) change both of these to the score you want, by highlighting them and clicking the arrow in the bottom left of that table, you can then shift click and edit both values at once. (Ctrl Click, then double click the "Value" which should now be at the bottom of the window.)

Ive tried doing this from the main menu, to see if it would work, and i can confirm that the renown is (predictably) stored server-side, so this would be the only way (As far as i know) to edit the renown and XP.
