Model Changing help.

Okay. So i tried to turn my M16A3 into a Ak103.. Regardless i renamed all the right files. When it comes to injecting them I put Ar into the file name, Then add the 3 files i renamed into the program It Always comes up as Not Found. Is that normal? Also when i click inject. It says something like these duplicated files were not found would you like to skip these files? And i click yes. Anyways i put it in the folder rename it delete the original, When i go into the game all my guns are missing. Can anyone tell me what i did wrong?

renameing the file wont change it u have to copy all thats in it with hex editor and paste into the thing u want to change

Oh alright ^.^ take the file of say a Tar.. And hex edit it to the files of a m16a3? i tried um.. Gallo's method and it didnt work out for me i tried it over and over did the exact things he did and nothing happened so i gave up.. i face the fact ill never be a editor or moder ill just download everyone elses work ^.^

my method does work, but like I can't edit it, and wanted to say, sometimes, modding Just. Doesn't. Work. Doesn't matter wHAT method you use. sometimes It just won't work.

Yeah no i believe you but it just doesnt work for me i even tried the Texture Modding Tut Followed it step by step and when i got to photoshop it always said some shit like '' File cannot be completed in wrong document type'' i put the plugin's in my PS folder.. still nothin i give up
