What is wallhack?

so i see this wallhack/aimbot hacks but wtf is a wallhack? and buying that ************ worth buying? i just play MW2 on PC just to mess around i have it on 360.

Wallhacks allows you to see a box and or name tag of your enemy through walls so you know where they are.

I'm pretty sure it also means you can shoot through walls. But wallhack lets you see the enemy, but the box is "bounding box", and the name tag is "esp".
