[Help] My Anti-Leech

Okay, so me and Samueldo are working on a project together.

I'm having trouble with this... and i don't know why it does it.

I'm using that for my anti leech, but when you enter the CORRECT username and password, it closes both, form1, and form2. So it doesn't work like it should.

Any help... I've done this stuff many times, but this one doesn't want to work for me.

Well it's because of the form2.show me.close thing umm

What you have to do is

Me.hide
Form2.show

Then in form 2 go to FormClosing event

And type

Form1.close

and there ya go

Already tried it, if i put Me.Close, ANYWHERE, it just closes Form2.

I don't get it... its pissing me off.

you dont have to use me.hide.. i'm not on my computer right now, so this may be a bit wrong: go to solution explorer, right click your projects name, should be in bold text..now, click properties, and look for through untill you find you answer, for how to shutdown the program. i would give more detail, but im not on my computer, and im tired, so i cant remember one little thing

This is happening becuz if your closing the main(opening) window it will close all sub windows to fix this do

me.visible = false

instead of

Code:

me.close

Then on form2.closing make form1 close

you could have a timer on form 2 that tests if it's visible or not and if it is it hides the first one...

Assuming your are entering "Me.Close" in form1, it would close the whole thing, due to the process most likely running as form1's GUI, so when you close the main process, it closes everything, like everyone else said you the hide and or visible functions instead of close, to avoid problems like this in the future. Sorry I answered late, I just got on late and thought I would try to help a little with a explanation .
