So a lot of people have been posting about how to fix the resolution source. Here is your solution:
You're going to need Yogda, rabcdasm, a working Fabiano source (Can be found with a google search), your resolution source, and Visual Studio 15.
Export The Resolution source from the zip into a desktop folder.
Export the Fabiano source from the zip into a separate desktop folder.
In the resolution folder delete the "Packages folder".
Now open the fabiano folder. Move the file name "RotMG.common.dll" into your resolution source.
Now navigate to "your desktop/resolutionsource/server/php". In this folder you will find 4 sub folders (dev, ext, extras, and lib).
Navigate to the same spot in your fabiano source folder. Now transfer all files with the .dll extension from the FABIANO source into the RESOLUTION source.
Open up the dev folder in both your fabiano and resolution source. Make sure you have a file name "php5ts.lib". If you don't transfer it from the fabiano source to the resolution source.
Navigate back to the php folder and open the "ext" subfolder in each source. Transfer ALL .dll files from your fabiano source to the resolution source.
Now open the lib subfolder from the php folder and then the enchant subfolder within the lib folder in both sources. Transfer all .dll files from your fabiano source to the resolution source.
Now, navigate back to the base resolution source folder. Open "server.sln" in visual studio. Ignore the error you get. On the right side you should find a project navigator. At the top of the list will be "Solution 'Server' (6 projects)". Right click on this and select "Restore NuGet Packages".
Make sure to edit server.cfg to your correct ip address and change the database info to the correct stuff.
Same with wserver.cfg.
Decompile the client.swf file in the base resolution source folder. Search for "104.168.142.240". Change this to your proper ip and port. Recompile the client.
You must create a new database for this server as well. The one sent with the source DOES NOT work. You can add me on skype and I will send you a proper database. I won't be showing you how to set it up though, as it is the exact same as how to set up a database for fabiano source with a different file.
Now rebuild your source and have fun kiddos
