Best way to learn C++

what is the best way to learn the basics of C++ to start gamehacking
Video tutorials or Book?

I would choose video tutorials, but i think book tutorials is covered everything.

I like books better, they are more comprehensive, a lot of online sources will give you a half put together explanation. Oh and a course a good community to discuss any questions about what you've learned.

watch the videos then read the books.
