What should I do?

Hi my fellow mpgh users I have a gtx 970 and 550$ and I was wondering if someone have any Idea what should I do to get a 1080 (Amazon refund ) I don't have enough to buy the 1080 strix that I want so bad I am missing 100$ what should I do? I don't want to sell my gtx 970 before I have another card
And I want to a refunded gtx 1080 from Amazon so I could get 2 of them I have a pc that it is ready for them!

1. Get $30 from NVIDIA because of your TX 970.
2. Buy a cheap temporary card for $30 or use your CPU integrated graphics.
3. Sell your GTX 970
4. Buy your 1080 Strix double dip it.
5. Save or spend your extra money on something else.

If you don't want to sell beforehand, just wait until you have the remaining amount. You can borrow from someone, you'll refund either way.

i honestly dont think you need a 1080 for 1080p. get a 1070 at max imo

Tbh there's no point going for a 1080, Totally illogical. Maybe go for a 1070 as there is not a huge difference.

As others have said, I also think you should still be pretty good with a 970 as long as you have a decent cpu to back it up.

If youre set on getting a 1080 then I would say just save and wait until you have enough. Otherwise the 1070 is still a good choice and you could just save the extra money.
