Could someone revise this to make it possible to use remote ip instead of local?

I tried that. It gives me the error

"No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it NNN.NNN.NNN.NNN:8000"

NNN.NNN.NNN.NNN is my ip obviously.

Any more help? I really want this to work.

your firewall is blocking the CONSOLE application...

Any way around that without totally stopping the firewall?

forward the port 8000 & the program in your firewall :P

port forward (if you have a router)

firewall should auto-come up and fix it, but u need admin rights. (in win 7 and vista)
