Joining a private match/inviting friends with the Zero Gear method

I have MWF2 up and running using the Zero Gear method and GoDLy's crack ( http://www.mpgh.net/forum/191-call-d...184-godly.html )

I can't join any internet games, but that is okay, I expected that.

I can start a Private Match just fine, but my friends (legit copies of MWF2) can't join me because I am in "Zero Gear Demo".

I can't join my friends' private matches because I don't own MWF2.

I have googled for an hour trying to find a tutorial and since the Zero Gear method is very popular, I thought for sure a result would turn up. However, the only instructions I have gotten look like "4) Crack 5) Play", which isn't useful.

+1, this is exactly the same problem I have been bugged with for 2 days now...

Crackers can't invite crackers either, I have been trying to invite someone to a non-steam game IW4MP.exe game, 1.0.184 hacked by Fix-Mbb all day, the msg shows in Steam Chat, but you cannot join each others' lobbies.

Its all a con.

MP hacks, with or without console, using own/alternate steam accounts.............

JUST DONT FUCKING WORK, WHY ARE THE HACKERS WASTING THEIR AND OUR TIME !!

I might as well wait until my Battlefield Bad Company 2 arrives on the 4th and start playing a decent game.

That is exactly the problem. It doesn't say I am playing MWF2, it says I am not playing anything!
