uk & eu refunds have a high chance of failure we'd been through this with the refund scare that happened like 2 weeks ago, here.

So you told them the box wasnt tampered with and told them nothing was in the box? Sounds like you messed up the SE I would hire someone to fix it for you because investigation usually last a week or 2 and depending on the situation they can refuse a refund or replacement. In an event that this would happen I would return the macbook to the apple store within the 15 day return policy and restart a few weeks later. But the rumor is is that Apple is patching the method so I wouldn't wait to long.

I'm presuming the carrier had taken a picture before he delivered the parcel and then forwarded that picture to Apple when the investigation was started. So Apple just responded with "no evidence of tampering".

Daamn, he must live in a city where the delivery man gets raped a lot, why the heck would they take a photo of the box? Unless, of course, he's done multiple refunds with other companies at this same address
