books vs internet

I am going to college it's my first year. Like im learning it like almost for 2 months and i really think that i dont understand a thing off it(like i'm missing something. I think it's bec of my teacher. He doesnt show up to class. he just made some youtube videos and tells us to watch them. (videos include the answers of the assignment that we have to make for him.) and that's it.



So you're saying if you read books you will understand the concept of it. and videos will explain you how to do it? Is that it?

True, But if you watch youtube you can see the person doing it. and he will explain evreything in detail what he is doing. so you can follow him.(i mean depends on the person how deep he will go in explaining it.) but i think i will go to the library and start to find some books. I really need start to learn the concept of it.

I got into programming from a book published in may of 1992, making the book about half a year older than I am. I got it for my 15th birthday after borrowing it from the library. That book has taught me all of the basics and more, the best thing about a book is that you can have it open as reference while you're trying to put together a program based on what you've learned so far. If you get a decent book I guarantee you you'll learn a lot more about proper programming than you will from some youtube videos.

If you really want to learn something, you should use all sources of informations, such as books, internet & etc. I can't tell you what's the better, everyone is special in his own way. So it depends on you. I can recommend you, if you start to learn any programming language, don't give up. Keep it learning and you will see results.
