DBD BloodPoint/Shrine Hack

Hey guys, I'm sure this has been brought up multiple times but I just want to double check I am on the right page. I use to use the cheat engine BP hack that required a firewall block to DBD but no EAC bypasser was needed. Do we need a EAC bypasser now to do the same thing that we did with cheat engine before to modify bloodpoints?
