No it was artificially inflated by hype but then deflated by scare tactics.

Crypto gods kept BTC under 20k so it wouldn't seemingly pop. They knew this would happen hence why people kept it under 20k. If it went over 20k, then this happen 100x more people would be freaking out and losing confidence in the currency.

Yeah thats why people are using BCH for actual trading. But some sites like gambling sites will give u 20% interest on BTC transactions to makeup for the fees if u spend enough.
