Run Crossfire In High Priority

How could I run crossfire in high or real-time priority (I know real-time is "dangerous" but my computer is horribly slow)? I have Vista so I need to run as Admin every time to play. Also I don't see how the little batch file will work either:

because to start crossfire you have to open it through the CF_G4box.exe otherwise it will give me a message that says "Close the game and try again." and not open whether or not I run as Admin or not. So how could I get crossfire to start automatically without me having to run task manager every time and set the priority manually?

keep it at the same level, chaning it wil increase your ping or make you spike alot.

yeah if you got pc tools 10 or whatever is automatically raises it for you.

do u use a laptop?if u do and if u have aero go to properties of ur CF icon and put it so aero turns off when ur playing CF

Yes I have a laptop but turning off aero won't do anything because I already have my setting down to lowest (windows classic theme and everything).

i think u can just right click either the crossfire icon or the c4_gbox icon and go to properties and change it to run as admin then open it and try to change the priority.

maybe in properties > compatibility they have sumthing bout this like aero /\

ctrl+alt+del
find crossfire.exe
left click it
go to set prioty
set it to high
