Cross modding!!help

When i start cross modding i get confused.i heard its really easy i just dont get it.For example "now what u do is rename the UZI [U]ANIBASE[U/] file to the M16A3 PVMLA

now get REZINJECT and inject it into GUNS_M_PV_AR"
What am i soppose to do there.any help would b appreiated.

Yeah ive been to all the modding sections that could help, and im not allowed to get photoshop cuz its stealing.So all i ccan do is cross mod but idk what it means by renaming it then injecting it.Thank you though

um... rename what the uzi anti base thing or the mpvl m16a3.and were do i rename it the thing i already put on my desktop

once u inject the uzi anibase renamed to M16A3 PVMLA into GUNS_M_AR go to ur combat arms game folder there should be a extra file in there named as GUNS_M_AR.reznew ( default location is c:nexon:combat arms, unless u moved it)

find the original file of GUNS_M_AR and rename it as GUNS_M_AR.rezbak

then rename the GUNS_M_AR.reznew as GUNS_M_AR.rez

ok then ur done im gona post some pics to help u here they are

ok thanks that really started to clear things up thanks a million,but how do u do that step before it. When u put it on the desktop.thanks for the picture im more of a visual learner thats why this is hard.
