[Help] Question in photoshop...

Hello guys. I'm trying to do a special Skin sorta Mod, But to do so i need to make a duplicate of the Locked Background file for the file, and then delete it. Edit the everything with it, and save it. But i cannot. Because it would save as a PDF file and if i attempted injecting it into the .rez file it will not work, so i am asking if there is a possible way to SAVE it as a .DTX instead of everything in that list if possible.. (People that wont steal my idea PM me and i will explain in detail WHAT i am doing).. Thank you in advance Everyone

me dont understand, if you have the dtx plugin in photoshop, when saving a file make sure you save a psd file with all the layers un-merged then after the first save, merge all layers-> go to file->save as-> (then in the format box) select DTXFormat -> then name file and same as normal-> you should now have a lithtech dtx, remember to use dtxconvert to make it a nexon file
