For the record, I don't use an autoclicker and I never intend to. But I understand the reasons why some people use them. First of all, your metaphor doesn't quite hold up. To me it would be like playing a jigsaw puzzle game that has a solver and completes parts of the puzzle in my absence or even while I watch. It defeats the purpose of playing a GAME. This suggests that the autoclicker can completely play the game for you in your absence/while you're watching. But it doesn't - most people use an autoclicker for one of two things: clicking monsters for damage (not a popular usage since most people heavily invest in Conquest, although still useful when using spells or just to get the insane tapping achievements), or levelling heroes up. Autoclicker users still have to input into the game to make decent progress - by deciding when to go infinite, by buying guardian skills with their infinity tokens, etc.
