Combat Arms and Sudden Attack Files

In theory Combat arms and Sudden Attack files should be interchangable because they both run on the same game engine (Lithtech) I don't have Sudden Attack installed on my computer but for someone who does you should be able to swap out the .dtx and .ltb files with the ones in combat arms there for leading to new weapons. Now from what it seems Sudden Attack has .dtx files but I'm not sure about .ltb files which would be the model files which would allow cross modding and model swapping. If any of you find these files please post them and then we could do some combat arms and sudden attack file swapping.

Lol there are alot of other factors that would prevent that swap.

Ya, there are quite a few technical things that would keep this from working.

Combat Arms's ltb and Sudden Attack's .ltb are not the same .

If you copy the codes from Hex Edit. Would it work?

but yes another factor would be Hackshield in combat Arms. well in the future verison of hackshield which i can reveal will be avaiable in 6-8 weeks, it gives the owners of lisence to add files themseleves which will be checked against sever pattern at random generated users. ofcourse this will be annoyin for many, i see not many lisence holders using this facility

SuddenAttack's CShell is generated every time you open the game, with a new name each time. It creates a .ltd file in

%TEMP% folder.

if you change or replace SA's .ltb file the game will crash when login screen

edit:

SA is Dx8 and CA is Dx9.

They use Lithtech but different versions.

Work it ???

they have different version of LTBs which are not compatible
