I think it would be a good idea to add buffs with a certain setting. For example, save a couple of buffs and load them so as not to do it all.

How do i use the bufftype option in the player edit for weapons. I tried to add a buff to a weapon which i thought would cause the person on the recieving end of the attack recieve the inferno buff(the id was around 116) but nothing happened. I am probobly using this wrong but i would like to know how to properly use it thx. sorry for the poor grammar its kinda late.

That isn't how it works, for example if you set it to 10 and then use it it will make YOU invisible because 10 is the ID for the invisible buff.

EDIT: ensure you also set the buffTime to something higher than 0 otherwise it will just wear off instantly.

Have you considered adding damage multiplier or any hacks for tmodloader? I know it would be a very large project as you said in previous reply, it's your decision though. Oh, by the way have you seen the new trailer for terraria's update so called journey's end? So cool that there's another patch for terraria. I actually hoped them to launch any dlc for contents but it feels good!!!!! )))))

Defense
You can change set number on defense. how much you want. like 100 or 999 ignore armor or someone accessory

Magic/Melee/Range Crit Chance/Damage

I really dont know. change damage / crit chance to higher.. Eh? For ex:

Unreal S.D.M.G.'s crit change 18% crit chance or damage (normal)

You can use change crits to 100 or more then S.D.M.G changes 18% to 100% crit change

im sure damage same ^

btw. I tried add buff type 299 and time 10 then it crashs the game.

Buff 299 doesn't exist, google Terraria buff IDs.

In fact,fullbright already exists.
To change the crit chance, you should go to Player hack panel and open the Inventory Editor, then modify the "crit" property of the weapon you want.

help please. when i try to run QTRHacker.exe i get a pop up that says "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." i have tried running it as an administrator and the same thing pops up.
