Start with programming in C. Then move on to object oriented programing (C++). Then to JAVA, then python and go on to R, Hadoop etc. Do till Python, then see what your work demands and study that. If you are preparing for a high end software related job. Study R and Hadoop as well

I would suggest you to start with python

C and Java and then study other languages depending on what your job or interests require.

If you learned this languages in this order, then it's really good, because my oppinion is still "if you can code in C, you can code in every language" but i would never suggest to start with C. I would say "learn with a language which except dynamic and a real type as definition to learn how to code"
Since C++ is still too difficult for beginners (in my eyes) it's also not a good Idea, but better then plain C with 'auto'.
Java can it too today, but sadly, it's Computercancer and not a programming language, so there is only C# left.
