Rendering a picture on cs5?

how do i render a picture on cs5 like i do it but then after i do the select thingie and the border goes all like lines that move so does the picture i traced out.. and then i copy then paste on new and it comes up but it's just the figure i want the colour too.. =(

u must use the pentool to render.
when finished> layer via copy

but like i want to take the background out from where i traced out the render how do i do that

okay i did that

it worked but how do i put the picture now onto a back ground? i cant find out how i been looking

i'm still learning photoshop atm its rather fukin hard tbh
