Hacking period

OK, so i know absolutely nothing about hacking, other than wat a few ppl have taught me and watchin a couple of youtube videos,
so this is what i learned....

1. i have winrar
2. i have red dragon injector
3. download hack into desktop, extract dl. file.
4. put dl. file into injecotor.
5. start CA.

so far all hacks ive tried dont work... am i doing something wrong??? all help is appreciated...
