Need help with using/installing mods. All help Appreciated!

Hey guys I'm pretty new to hacking, and I need some help hacking.

I know how to download files, and I extract them with winRAR, and I get the .dll file format, and I put them into an injector (Currently im using x1nject) and I type Engine.exe into the What to inject bar, and I run combat arms, and use the insert button on my keyboard, but no luck Somewhere I heard that you have to put the file into the game's file, but I'm not sure If im supposed to do that or not. Any help or suggestions? Thanks!

For mods? Dude, you put them in the game folder. Or are you using actual dll hacks. Your REALLY confusing me.

For hacks just use an injector here:http://www.mpgh.net/forum/197-combat...s-updated.html and inject the .dll file and type in engine.exe for location or just engine.

My guide is for mods not hacks I apologise. For hacks, simply browse for the .dll file using an injector and type for location "engine.exe" or "engine" and it should work. Some hacks have no menus so you have to press the number pad towards your right.

Thank you! This will sound like a definate Choob thing, but I did not have the latest version of .NET framework (Version 4) I'm guessing this is why it was not working? I plugged into an injector and it diddnt work, so do you think not having .NET framework 4 could of been the cause of it not working?

Quite possibly. It wouldn't hurt to download it. So your best option here is to install it.

I downloaded it, and ran PerX with the hack loaded into the injector, ran the game, and the PerX thing dissapeared (Which I think its supposed to) And then while in game I tried pressing Delete to bring up the hack menu, but nothing happened. I installed the Framework and the latest version of direct X... And still Its not working :/

Try downloading d3dx9_35.dll, d3dx9_37.dll and d3dx9_42.dll and putting them into your combat arms file. You can find them here d3dx9_37.dll free download - DLL-files.com

I looked in my directory, and I found that I do have d3dx9_35.dll, with that link you gave me I installed d3dx9_37.dll, but I do not have d3dx9_42.dll in my directory for some reason.... Do you have a link for that one?

Nevermind, I found it myself (Diddnt see the search bar for a minute there lol) But I will tell you guys if that did anything..
