The developers of the game have created new anti-cheat functions. As far as I'm aware the developers have been doing this since July 16 and have successfully (for the time being) broken the DA feature. It's a relatively easy fix. You can see in the design notes of July 16, that it mentions “
A bunch of behind the scenes adjustments to the game engine”, which is obviously referring to the anti-cheat functions. They have also broken the quest reward cycler and the next target will probably be the shop lifter cheat in subsequent engine releases.
I know how to fix the DA cheat, it’s exactly the same way you deal with
DAcheck and the other anti-cheat functions. If you want a work-around for the DA, ask publicly on the forum and I’ll PM you how you can use the variable editor to allow you to use the temp DA cheat. I’ve already PM’d @
crushingbobs about the DA workaround, as I can’t seem to PM certain users on this forum. For example, when I want to send a message to @
De_Wezel, it says the following: “De_Wezel has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her”. I have no idea why this is the case, but it might be to do with your settings.
If I release a new version of S Trainer, it’ll break if the developer decides to create new anti-cheat functions or simply changes the name of some of the anti-cheat functions, which was the case with the current engine update. If the developer of the game is super motivated with creating anti-cheat mechanisms, expect a lot of popular cheats breaks e.g. DA hack, quest reward cycler, shop lifter, merge shop lifter, etc. I might create a new release of S Trainer once I’m confident that all the anti-cheat functions have been released.
