I agree with you man, but his Great Grandfather was one of the Pioneers of the Church of Latter Day Saints, so he might promote it. His Dad was born from Polygamy, he was to. So, you never know.

I'm personally a McCain guy and an Evangelical, but I don't think the President's religion matters that much.

What really matters is the morals that do or don't come from it. Ultimately, religion does not make you a good or bad President, but your morals do.

Also, I find it kinda funny that the Mormon is one of the only Republican candidates with only one wife...

I like Mormons, all of them are non-violent. I have some Mormon friends and they are cool.

when i saw the thread i thought it said a moron for president, but isn't Mormon considered part of Christianity so i don't see what is wrong with someone that believes in Mormonism to be president its just a branch, like Lutheranism, of Christianity.

Edit: I don't see why do people care about what religion their candidates are. If they have good sense of right and wrong then religion doesn't matter that much.

doorshutter, i bet prior to bush you didnt really know the diff btw dems and reps. all you know now is bush=reps, so reps are evil. i want you to ask any rep if he likes bush. sides this is a post asking whether you would vote for a morman. My answer is yes. Romney is a morman, but he is also an economist, so i believe he could get the US out of its recent economic downturn, i could care less if he believes in God, Allah, or a freakin rock.
