Debate Fort...

I know it's sometimes fun to put your ideas out there and have your voice heard, but I just went through a lot of debate fort threads and it's full of nothing but arguments and gay and conspiracies and religious subjects that sometimes take heat from people of other religions or flaming atheists or agnostics. So, basically, I don't like the debate fort section. I think we should all keep our ideas to ourselves so crap doesn't get stirred up. I understand that the Debate Fort won't get closed because of this, but... dear lord...

What do you expect from a whole section devoted to debates? Debating on what shoe to buy this weekend?

I understand that but people don't really debate in an organized fashion if you see where I'm getting at. They just rant and call each other retarded and flame. It should be like: "Hey, man I don't like (topic here) and here's why (description). and someone replying to that: "I am going to have to disagree with you on that because (description).

Just because you think that's how it should be doesn't mean it's gonna be like that. People are people, but people on the Internet are inhuman. =\

I didn't say you were a troll, I was referring to the majority of people who post in the Debate Fort.

I've seen quite a few threads with some real arguments. I somewhat agree with you though, the debate section shouldn't be filled with senseless insults being used as arguments.
