[Help] Cross-Game Modding Help- No noobs please

Hey, so I've been experimenting with cross-game modding, and I thought, hell, its prolly just renaming files. So far, I'm assuming thats mostly what it is, so I thought I do a FAMAS to a Contract J.A.C.K. Crossbow. This is the results:

You can see the xBow when it is equipped in "My Character", which I find weird, considering with regular crossmods, you can't even see it:

However, ingame, you can't see it, nor can it be shot. Note: I've tried shooting with more than the just xBow, so I'm pretty sure its not because of the gun I chose:

It even shows it on the ground:

Does anyone who has done this before know how to fix this problem? Any help that works will result in a thanks and my undying gratitude. Thanks!
