Increase CPU Performance (Win Vista/7 Users)
To start things off, i did not find this tip/tweak myself and for u ppl who are lazy to find a way to speed up CPU performance, look no further

Im pretty shure this is only for Vista/7 users becuz he didnt post it in the XP section, sooo lets get started
Ok to start, click on your start orb, and in the search function just above the start orb, type in 'Power Options' and a window shud come up titled select a power plan.
From there, yer power plan shud b originally set to Balanced if u didnt make changes to it already. Whut u WANT to choose is high performance.
If u guyz want proof, i can tell u, but i cant give u physical proof becuz im too lazy to make a video and it wont work with Screen Capture.
My proof is, i play on all high settings, even my ATI Catalyst Control Center 3D settings are all advanced. The problem is when i turn on shadows, i lag, but when i found this out, i play smoothly like a baby's bottom!
Remember, if u dont feel comfortable about tweaking your PC or u jus dont trust ppl like me, then DONT DO IT. ALSO remember to Rep/Thank me pls & ty!

yea it works some i use it at high performance all the time

I think it looks pretty promising..
its not a huge increase for most ppl but it will help some
Changing the power plan wont have any affect on game performance. All it does it adjust things like turning off harddrives during sleep and how long the screen stays on, at best it might work as a placebo and make you think its runner better.
