[Help]Updater?

Hello everyone. I am making a WarRock hack and am almost done and ready to release it. I was wondering if there is a way to add a button to my hack that when pressed would check my website if it is the latest version and if it isn't the user is prompted to download the newer version. If this can be done please post a way how to. Thank you for your time.

a simple hyperlink should be easy to program....

but this last thing you said: to check if there is a newer version and if there is one, to give the link, or else to go to your website

this needs a servercheck for the version, and about this i don't know anything!

hmm. ok the download part should be easy you said? well would there be a way to say read a text file uploaded to my site then it reads whether the version matches the version in the text?

your idea is quite interesting, i think if you code it right it would even work, but as i said i don't know anything about how to code the servercheck...

but i think there is a tutorial on another side...

Use google : Visual Basic Updater or something like this
