Okay here is a thread for all you first timers here or people that arent as familiar with the section (You shouldnt really be reading this if you've been here for a fair amount of time!) and are new to MPGH and Modding.
If this could be stickied and moved to the main modding section, that would be great and would help many of us.
Firstly:
you gotta know the rules of the main forum and also the special rules for this section, if you want your mod approved quicker and faster then learn the rules or at least try to remember the important ones they can be found here.
Secondly:
When posting a texture mod or any kind of mod use the search button before you think about posting, if you dont know where the search button is, Its in the top right corner under the page number. Just because yours is a different name doesnt mean it hasnt been made, make a thorough search, if you dont and go ahead and post, well lets just say your gonna get flamed like a poor old mother fucker.
Thirdly:
Do not fucking leech! I say this because i know that everyone at one time of their life has leeched something from someoen or somebody. What is the point of leeching? to get more respect? then people will expect much of you then when you cant fulfill your requests, you get flamed, lose your respect, and you end up leaving the forum, just dont leech, people work hard on their mods expecting to get thanks and comments, and then selfish people come along and steal them. Any person that leeches a mod to MPGH usually doesnt get their's approved and the thread gets closed.
Fourthly:
Don't you hate it when people flame you like fuck? Dont you wish you got "constructive" criticism instead of flame? well heres a solution. LEARN TO MOD. Dont make stupid texture mods that have some words or are cou on it because they usually bump the better mods to the second page when people actually worked hard on them. Also dont post login screen backgrounds when they are just copy and paste. If you wanna learn then go look at some tutorials here or some more specific ones.

Also there are many tools and utilities that are availible to download and use to help and assist with modding. you can find them in the main modding section. (they will be stickied!) Also always remember to give credits e.g give credits to who inspired you, tutorials, tools and so on, in most cases people do but if you do not well lets just say it aint gonna be pretty. If you are a dumbfuck and dont know how to give credits this is how, heres a tutorial. Usually people comment and tell you whether your mod is shit or good here are some words they will probably use, I will explain to all you noobs what some words mean when people say them:
Mod Rating Vocabulary:
C+P: most commonly used, this means Copy and Paste mod, no effort used, absolute shit mod.
1337 Mod Dude: Really good mod great effort put in and outcome was really good.
Epic as Fuck! absolute Mindfuck: These mods dont come by often so dont take them for granted. They take a long time to mod so dont even bother leeching the creators will be mad and you will be chased and hunted down for life!

Ive never leeched anything. Why because i made my parents block every other hack websites
