Hello, some of you may know me for my helping newbies figure out how to do things with WarRock.
Here is for the Pre-Release WarRock.
Extract the .exe in
this .rar file to your
WarRock\System directory, run the .exe directly (you should know how...) or rename it to
WarRock.exe and use the updater.
NFV = 'No File Verification'
Using this .exe, you may edit any of the files under
Maps\ (Probably others too...)!
Example: "Easy Wall Hack" (bad name...)
Open
Maps\Ohara\Occlusion.dat and
Maps\Ohara\StaticObject.dat and remove all data (ctrl+a, del) and save the files. Play a game with Ohara... notice the difference?
You can do this with any map.
Example: "Flying Humvee" (my first trick I did with this)
Open
Maps\Ohara\ObjectSpawnTemplate.dat, look for a set of lines for
CAR_HUMVEE_CAL50.
The two you are interested in is:
ObjectSpawn.Target CAR_HUMVEE_CAL50
ObjectSpawn.Code ED01
If you want a small wimpy helicopter, change Target to
HEL_500MD and Code to
EJ05.
If you want the larger apache helicopter, change Target to
HEL_APACHE and Code to
EJ03.
Note: to other players it will look like a Humvee. You can do this with any other entity too.
Note #2: This can cause client crashes, you can avoid them by not getting into a modified vehicle with another player or letting someone else get in yours.
