I think she wants us to use strings or something like that and variables also apply. Think she also started to mention stuff about Width and Precision which are commands that could help during this. Project description is below.
Rapper’s Delight
After the publicity generated from the “Even though nobody cares, I’m going to sell more records than Kanye” challenge made by 50 Cent, the rest of the hip-hop community decided to hop on the band wagon (or is it rap wagon?). Artists are claiming that they will outsell whoever else releases an album on the same day at such an alarming rate that the record industry has asked you to write a program to help them determine the winner.
During any given week, three artists release a new album. You are to prompt the user for the artist’s name, followed by the total number of albums sold for the week. There are two types of votes required per artist: “East Coast” and “Dirty South”. You are to repeat this process for all three artists.
Once you have obtained the artist information you are to display all of the information in a neatly formatted table. This table will show the artist’s name, the total number of albums sold for the artist and the overall percentage of records they sold.
Here is your sample output (all underlined values represent input and are subject to change)
Enter the name of artist # 1: Kanye West
Enter the number of albums Kanye West sold in the East: 2555111
Enter the number of albums Kanye West sold in the South: 145688
Enter the name of artist # 2: 50 Cent
Enter the number of albums 50 Cent sold in the East: 69881
Enter the number of albums 50 Cent sold in the South: 2
Enter the name of artist # 3: Paul McCartney
Enter the number of albums Paul McCartney sold in the East: 1588931
Enter the number of albums Paul McCartney sold in the South: 31558

Artist Kanye West 50 Cent Paul McCartney
Records Sold 2700799 69883 1620489

Note that you will have to use proper alignment techniques and format all percentages to two decimal places.
All rules of style apply.
If you finish early, write additional code to display the name of who sold the most records (see chapter 4 for hints/tips).
