That only works for WEP connections. Most people use WPA now. There are probably ways to crack WPA, but its not going to be easy.

Cracking WAP is a bitch (sorry for the word).
There are only two methods to get it:
Asking for it to the owner (probabily you'll don't do that).
Brute force, get a random class from the internet and wait some years. D: (the lame way).

In conclusion, go get your own internet line!

On avarage you would get the right key at the middle try so you have to run your pc for
