Error In Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition ( Thanking People Who Help )

Ive been dieing for Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition to work but everytime i start up a new project. It gives an error saying this;

Error 1 .NET Framework 2.0 update not found. The win32manifest will not be embedded. WindowsApplication1


I have reinstalled this twice now but the problem still goes on.
Anybody have any ideas?

Get the newest .netframework, make sure the program works (maybe you have a badly patched / cracked program - happens if its cracked by someone who doesnt know who to crack apps) by running it on another PC.

If it works on the other PC your PC is rubbish ... if it doesnt work on either PC the program is rubbish ...
