Alcohol is worse than every "dirty" drugs you're thinking of (in terms of toxicity, addiction strength, and recovery process), except cocaine. I'm not saying that all drugs are completely safe, i'm saying the exact opposite. Society as a whole needs to rethink their views on drugs. Alcohol, tobacco, and cocaine should be illegal, the rest regulated. I have science backing me up on this one. Again, I'm not saying they're all perfectly safe, but if you ever plan on drinking any alcohol at all in your life, you can't call me an idiot.

It's hard to overdose on alcohol, it's easy to OD on other drugs like ecstasy, coke, etc. Some people(I'm not saying you) don't know their limits.
