sorry i shouldnt have posted that other link....im not familiar with the other antispyware anyway. but this is what i used, i know for a fact that it will work.

EDIT: to reinstall windows put your bootdisk into the cd drive and restart, when it starts to boot up push F12 (in some cases its F10 or F2) and select the CD/DVD drive instead of your internal drive. it should run the installation process.

That might be your settings. But depending on the trojan, that might be a symptom. Reinstall XP is nothing helps...

zlob doesnt shut down ur comp so it mustve been someone else

and antiviruses dontt put the deleted files into the recycling bin, they either completely delete them or put them into the QUARANTINE file located....if i remember correctly its one of the base folders on ur c drive. so my computer>c drive> look for QUARANTINE

Just remove the zlob, if you are someone who doesnt want to pay use Spybot search and destroy and SuperAntiSpyware + the free edition of AVG / Kaspersky.

No.. what i mean was when i delete something (like a picture) and i check the recycling bin.. its not there. But when i click empty recycling bin it says empty all 35 ( or w.e) completely or something like that..

lol my PC when ever i run any type of antivirus / anti spyware program or even start a scan EVEN in SAFE MODE
PC goseeee BOOOM! LOL it reboots instentley its pissing me off i am formating my whole PC and upgrading to vista ultimate in few min =/ ....
i advise doing that..
just back up your stuff before doing this

I dont think i have anything to backup... ^^ I'd probably only back up my Music and Photoshop stuff xD

Btw: How do you format your PC? (or laptop) ^_^ and upgrade to Vista.. do you need that CD for the format? Ty Gourav

you download the operating system here, and burn the ISO to a CD. then you reboot with the CD in ur comp, and push F12 at the beginning of ur boot sequence. select CD/DVD DRIVE and then follow the instructions, it will format ur hard drive during setup.
