WP7 development now has (limited) Visual Basic support
What does this mean?
Everything to a vb.net developer!

Two downfalls (for now) is developers
must have and use
Visual Studio 2010 Professional or higher.
Visual Studio 2010 Express for
Windows Phone is not supported, but this may change in the near future.
If you do not have a copy of pro or higher then I suggest you look here.

The other downfall is developers can
only use
Visual Basic for
Silverlight WP7 apps. That means that
Visual Basic developers can't build
Windows Phone 7 applications in
XNA,however, I am still very excited about this idea.
It seems to be the beginning of a great start for
Windows Phone development with
vb 2010, and with all the great applications and avenues available for
Windows Phone 7 I not only see great potential for vb developers and great applications, but I see some good opportunities to make some of the applications released here into a mobile version and possibly a financial avenue for some.
You can download the add-on here.

Once you do, you will have some new templates added to your new projects window.

I say have fun and I urge everyone to make some great releases, and some tutorials for new members or developers new to this concept.
If you learn something new for yourself, go ahead and teach it to others.
