How to Fix Random D/C

Step 1: Go to the Control Panel
Click on the Start or Windows button and click on Control Panel.

Step 2: Go to Windows Update
If you are in Classic View, click on “System and Security”, followed by “Check for Updates”.

If you are in Large or Small Icons view, simply click on “Windows Update”.

Step 3: Search for Updates
Regardless of whether or not Windows Update is reporting that your system is up to date or when your last update was, click on “Check for Updates”.

It may take some time for Windows Update to find all available updates.
Step 4: Select Updates
If Windows Update has found any available updates, click on the text stating how many updates are available.

Make sure all the checkboxes are selected. Please take care to look for a “Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile” update, and make sure that it is selected to be installed, as some user reports have stated that it is this update that fixes the crash, and is occasionally not selected by default in Windows Update.
Additionally, be sure to check the Optional updates. These updates frequently include graphics drivers which can improve in-game performance.

Step 5: Install the Updates
Once you have selected the updates, click on “OK” to leave the Select Update screen and click on Install Updates back at the main Windows Update menu.

Depending on the updates to be installed, this may take some time and will probably require a restart of your machine.
Step 6: Launch Combat Arms
Go to the Combat Arms website, log in and attempt to launch the Combat Arms client.

i already udated everything but i still d/c and i dont use hacks the only thing i did was get rid of textures.rez and the unpatchable chams thing where it messes with the CHARS_T_BODY.rez stuff
