Prologue
Olly Debugger is a very powerful and popular debugging tool these days. Softice used to be #1 when it came to debugging, in the past few years its popularity has gone down. Most people think using a debugger is very complicated... And it is. You shouldn't try to use a debugger unless you know something about ASM and or debugging.
The Interface
Start up Olly Debugger. When started you will notice there are four boxes, One to the top left which shows dissembled code, the one that is to the top right which shows global registers, the one to the bottom left which shows what is in active memory, and the one to the bottom right which shows a ton of actively loaded addresses & DMA.
